Our next meeting will be held on Saturday 12th October 2019
St Mary Magdalene Church
87 Dingle Way
A presentation will be given by Howard Don, one of our long-term members.
“GH on The International Stage – What’s Happening?”
Howard is well informed on the topic, as he has spent many years promoting awareness of haemochromatosis and campaigning for consistency of treatment throughout the UK – for 3 years he was HUK’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees and, in that role, has attended International Conferences and Meetings.
A light lunch will be available (at no cost, although, if you wish, a donation to Group funds would be welcome)
A raffle will be held to raise funds for Group activities.
Handmade greetings cards will be available to purchase in support of NW Support Group.
The Committee look forward to meeting patients and their family members. Arrive between 10.00 and 10.30 to have a tea or coffee, a biscuit and a chat about any problems with your treatment that you may be facing. It is also an ideal opportunity to meet others in the same situation, make friends and socialise. Newly diagnosed patients and their families are especially welcome.
If you require further information, contact us through the usual telephone or email channels.

Well done Suzy. We are all extremely proud of you, and pleased that HUK recognises the valuable contribution that you make.
